I tested the most hyped snorkeling spots in Okinawa, here’s my honest rating 📍 Gorilla Chop 🚿 Showers 🚗 Free parking ⭐️ 6/10 — Easy entrance and exit, lots of Nemos. Corals aren’t the healthiest and not many big fish. Might get better if you swim further out. 📍 Cape Maeda (Blue Cave) 🚿 Paid showers 🚗 Paid parking ⭐️ 8/10 — Best to go early in the morning to avoid crowds. Amazing visibility, colorful clams, lionfish, eels, and vibrant corals 🪸 📍 Sunabe Seawall 🚿 No showers 🚗 Free parking near residential area ⭐️ 8/10 — Healthy soft corals if you swim further out, occasional sea snakes . Usually quiet with very few crowds. 📍 John Man Beach 🚿 No showers 🚗 Free parking ⭐️ 7.5/10 — Great for beginners, crystal-clear water.
