Northridge naturals, affordable freeze dried raw, comes in nuggets ,add water it rehydrates to meat chunks or crush up on kibble add water to create a gravy . My dog loves the all beef it’s all organs and marrow veggies no filler . I go between with and without kibble , stay away from poultry till bird flu isn’t an issue

sticking to the brands who meet and exceed WSAVA guidelines (Purina, Hills, Royal Canin) is the best options. yeah it’s not as “exciting” as other options, but it’s backed by science, research, and feeding trials. all these other diets are fads and will never last or be sustainable for pets

You can buy balanced meal supplement packs from justfoodfordogs where they give you their own exact recipes or you can sub out whatever you want, I was making crock pot meals for mine for a long time but can’t right now due to health issues and family needing to watch her a lot and they don’t have time to do all that… for over a year I was ordering the frozen food from them but then everything started looking and smelling different and my dog refused to eat it. The supplement powder is like 15$ and makes big batches, you just choose a meat (used chicken thighs until we figured out she was allergic and switched to beef then a grain, at least 2-3 veggies or dark green like spinach (she’s an Arab pup so her fav is molochia lol) and even a fruit like blueberries or apple. Enough water to cover everything, 4 or 6 hour for crockpot or you can use a pressure cooker on stove. You can just follow the recipe exactly if you’re nervous then start subbing when you’re ready, add powder before the water completely evaporates, stir and combine everything,pull meat off bones if needed, then let it finish. Once cooled I’d put in 3 day Tupperware, 2 in fridge 4 in freezer. Thaw in fridge day before you need another container.

Btw in case it wasn’t clear in the video, I was not asking for a refund (even my dog hated the food). I was only asking for them to hold it, or pause it, or have it shipped someplace it would be safe (food safety??) until I got back. They refused. No place so lacking in empathy or flexibility should ever be in the pet business.
