I’ve lived my entire life chasing an identity that wasnt my own. Looking for purpose to be found in myself just as I saw it in other people. Maybe they were also chasing an identity not of their own. It is only recently that I discovered how to find my own identity. My own purpose. And quite frankly, I think it’s necessary to conform to some common societal standard in order to feel free in your own person. Otherwise, how would you know that you were own identity?
