They have another version whereby they sold the green part with coconut shavings. It's called kuih kosui or kuih lompang. This is supposed to be more delicious.

If the white part is flavorless, means that the kuih was not made perfectly. The taste should be a bit salty so when u it together wt green part, the taste would be better
