Another reason I learned to put the seasoning before the water boils is to prevent some of the seasoning to stick to the package because of all the damp when it boils, like this you get all the seasoning in your noodles😁

This is all well and good, but we can't lie in the name of science for the most part adding anything to water is gonna make it take longer to boil, even if it's not that much time especially if we're talking about something like salt.

This is how I cook my Shin Ramen to cure my illnesses. Boil water, add all packets included. Add as much gochugaru as you can handle, plus garlic (or garlic powder), sesame oil and powdered ginger. Add sliced green onion and any other veggies before adding the noodles. Cook just about 3 min and pour. Have some kimchi on the side. My favorite is Choi’s out of Portland OR.
