Am moving with family to OZ early next year, have heard from friends that the first two-three years is tough, homesick, cultural change etc, but he said stick with it as life becomes easier & amazing. He said the same as you, you have to change to adapt, if you don’t you will struggle.

Went to Australia to escape all the problems I thought I had in Ireland. The money was good, weather, friends, social life etc was great but when the novelty wore off I realised it was me that was the problem. Moved back to Ireland a few months ago after spending 2 years out there. I wouldn’t go back to Australia but if I hadn’t of went I wouldn’t have changed. Ireland is better, but would recommend spending atleast a year out there 👍

ye and then you go home and it's lashing rain ,dark cold and gloomy and you realised oz is still 1000x better because you can actually go outside and plan activities

Thanks man I needed to hear that I was in aus for the past 2 years but struggled to find my direction with work and staying in aus would have halted my life so I had to leave the girl I loved to come back for family and to find me I’ll decide when I’m better and have focus in life

It's true. I don't rush outside when it's sunny anymore as I take it for granted. However, when you live somewhere like Ireland, you appreciate the sun as it is a rarity ❤️❤️👏👏
