@🫰🏽CerdaMamaLlamaDrama🫶🏽:I was taught this by my religious education teacher in PRIVATE CATHOLIC SCHOOL. I would leave that class and had science right after were i learned about evolution! Needless to say I was shocked when I found out that people read it literally and didn't believe in evolution 😳.

So true! And then it becomes even more infuriating and frustrating when the people you trusted and who taught you how to read and study the Bible your whole life turn to you and say "Well the context doesn't actually matter" and that "Your intelligence is making you think too hard about the text and not have enough faith in God's word" when you attempt to bring up a different or recent theological perspective.

Amen! Theology graduate here who read the Bible in Hellenistic Greek and debated hermeneutics. I try to explain this to people - Christianity is too emotive and people want to blindly follow the interpretation of their church.
