As a hiring manager at a very large corporation, when a candidate shows enthusiasm during the interview, and just simply telling me they hope they’ve shown me enough for me to want to hire them, this definitely stands out to me.

Maybe its me, but I keep seeing people using the phrase- concerns/hesitations. I feel like there should be a positive spin to this- such as “before moving forward is there anything that I can highlight further?”

I had a 2nd round interview for a COO role on Tuesday. The energy was light and before I closed out I said, “so my only question is, when do I start?” The panel laugh and then shared what the next steps are and a timeline.

I saw an indeed posting, I saw it was a smaller company but paying well. I immediately called and asked if they were still hiring they said yes, the next day I printed my resume and brought it to the office in person….the weekend passed and Tuesday morning they asked me for a interview which I now have tomorrow! Pray for me!!
