185,000 miles on my Tesla Model 3 Performance. $0 spent on repairs or maintenance. Charging cost is 1/3 price of gas. 40,000 miles lifespan on tires. 0-60mph in 3 seconds. Please tell me ONE gas car that can match that

Interviewing mechanics that work on combustion engines vs electric vehicles that never need maintenance… is there something wrong about that? 😂😂😂😂 (And YES I know electrics still need maintenance to some degree but certainly not the same)

I’d never go back to gasoline. I have massive torque, insane acceleration, $7 overnight charge at home for 300 miles, almost no maintenance, smoother powertrain than a Rolls Royce. And let’s get real, every automatic trans and CVT ever made is bad. My battery warranty is far better than almost any gas engine or transmission warranty. It’s clearly a superior powertrain outside of LONG distance driving and towing. It’ll win-out in the long run..

these are the guys that have never taken a training class on EV. in my shop it's only the high level guys that go for the training cuz they're the only guys who can understand how to fix and how they work. that first guy is a complete fool

I mean it's no surprise that a mechanic would hate an electric vehicle most of the maintenance is just tire rotations and buying tires every 30-50k miles if you don't drive it like a sports car. All the other work like wiper blades, wiper fluid, 12v changes. brake pads last forever as well. So basically it ruins his business and job.

I have 19,000 miles on my EV tires and they look practically brand new. 26,000 on my ice pick up and they need to be replaced. Get 300 miles of range in the summer 260 in the winter. My gas pickup gets 18 miles a gallon in the summer and 14 in the winter Pretty comparable.

EVs are the future and mechanics hate them because they know they will make very little money off of them. I have 2 EVs with a total of 260,000 miles on them and have only spent $350 on maintenance combined

The only point he’s making that’s accurate as it does go through tires. Battery last for 200k thousand miles. I’ve owned 2 zero maintenance issues of course mechanics don’t like him because they don’t know how to work on them number one and they’re putting them out of business
