Conservative- Not only should foreign governments NOT be allowed to own US land, non US citizens should not be able to purchase land. I’m open to persons in the process of obtaining citizenship purchasing, with the understanding that failure to complete the process means forfeiture of said property.

I believe in the country residing citizens should always have top priority over foreigners on land ownership. I believe if you want to own land here and you're from another country you can fall the legal processes and become a citizen of this country and purchased land. I believe I can't buy foreign land in most countries because I would have to become a citizen of that country and live there for a certain number of years before I even gain the necessary approval to purchase land. here in the United States it varies from state to state with federal oversight on it. I don't believe foreign countries should be able to buy land and a country that they're trying to take over.

Liberal. I don’t think foreign governments or corporations should be allowed to own property in the United States. For non-citizens, it should be limited to 5 acres or less for residential vacation property only and they should pay a higher tax rate
