That’s an interesting thought. As someone from the music side I can tell you that artist and producer patter is rehearsed to sound casual and nonchalant. In reality, a pro producer or songwriter comes into a session with 50 fully formed ideas pretty much ready to go and the “artist” does their thing on top, resulting in something that everyone pretends was just serendipity, cause showbiz. Occasionally game will meet game such that both parties truly bring boundless, actionable genius to the table, but it’s rare. I think this kind of collaboration, in any realm, would be powerful but you’d have to be veryy selective

I like this framing when it comes to prototyping, but there is another key part of app development: post-launch lifecycle of iterations. Apps take commitment after launch, songs don’t. Interestingly this is why AI demos look great but haven’t translated to us having 100x more amazing apps we use daily

That's so interesting!! I feel the itch to just prototype way more now (I was a frontend engineer) that it's way faster to do it, but never made the connection to music!

but also don't think today's AI coding tools are "multiplayer" yet in the way that jamming with your friends is

Please please try gizmo . It’s a social media mixed with vibe coding . People are just making their small vibe coded games and filters and putting them on a fyp.
