I do everything organic on my property except for one exception. I use a product called stump and vine killer. You apply it with a paint brush (so no broad spraying) on the freshly cut stem and the tree doesnt just grow back. Really useful on things that pop up from old roots. I think it’s a good trade on invasive.

I heard that if you put weed killer in one of those little flower, stem things that they put on flowers to keep them hydrated during transport and you shove that over a part of the sawed off tree it will kill the plant without harming other plants around it. I haven’t tried it though!

Those look like “tree of heaven” trees. They are extremely invasive. When you cut them, they release a scent and that scent is sending a signal down in the root system that they are being attacked and therefore need to create more babies. The only way to get rid of them is to ☠️the mother tree. And do it professionally

In the Spring plant drought tolerant Natives there, get lots of tiny plugs/plants. The Natives will out compete the invasive. Of course you will still have some that pop up here in the but they will smother them if planted tightly. I’ve done this in my TX garden, works great (I was competing against bamboo😭)
