I had my coil fitted last week, thinking it wouldn't be as bad as I'd had a baby 4 months ago and I'd be stretched out.......I WAS WRONG.

I knew someone who got pregnant while she had a coil in, and when she had her pregnancy ultrasound they found the coil was inside the placenta with the baby!

Had mine fitted end July this year, omg it feels as if it’s coming out! Have done nothing but bleed. Having it out 3rd Nov. Never again!

Never have more than cramps when I have mine done. I’m on my 5th and had two removed at the hospital because the strings went right up. I’m just lucky I guess. Or have a high pain threshold??

Just go on a rebounder trampoline! Worked for me … unintentionally. Wouldn’t recommend! Very messy! 😳

I was told to just not have it removed!! I’m 55, no menopause stuff and no period for years! It should have been took out years ago! Sooo painful getting removed so I was so happy they said to just keep it in!!

Mines currently lost again 😬 now been told it’s now an 8 year coil instead of 5. It’s kind of worked but having the implant 6 times the coil is horrible xx

I'm waiting to get mine removed and replaced under general anesthetic. the strings have retracted into my uterus and I was in so much pain when they tried to open my cervix to get it out 🙈

I had one put in under anaesthesia and only just managed to have it removed without but will never forget the pain and the doc shouting ‘forceps’ 😫😥
