Zenitsu is only really whiny in season one for me atleast, in 2 and 3 he would only complain about training but is mostly the voice of reason out of the 3. Like generally was the smartest and the most sarcastic when something dumb was said.

Well yeah it took 4 seasons for him to lock in that's character development, while he is annoying part of his character is how most of us would act when hunting demons for money because demon are terrifying

Zenitsu is comedy relief, sure I thought he was weird and annoying at first but when I realised how sweet he could be, how strong he is and once you LOOK at his character as comedic relief over annoying then you start to enjoy him more, also yes he locked in for the movie which is great BUT watching him change SO SUDDENLY after the seasons just shows his characters growth, yes it's quick but for vis character that's what makes it so much better
