It was beyond mid like I can’t call it bad but it did itself dirty by putting every interesting scene in the trailer so most of it kind of dragged on and the dialogue was BIZARRE

Completely agree! He looked great and I love Ethan but the movie was just, Eh. The dream sequences felt like Sinister (which the writer and director also did) but they were slow and felt long.

i totally disagree. i love the first one but i genuinely think the second one was better. what i really love about the black phone is the dream sequences. i think it is filmed so beautifully and i will truly die on that hill. 🖤📞
