Your talking about your experience I assume? Men marry for love too, studies actually show that love is one of the main reasons both men and women choose to marry. It’s not just about timing or « finding out his mission » a lot of men truly want emotional connection and partnership.

I’ve heard it explained that men pick the woman who’s in front of him at the time he decides he wants marriage/kids. It’s often why he dates a women for many years, then married the next in a shorter time frame.
