📍 United States 🇺🇸 A tense encounter unfolded when an officer approached a man and ordered him to put his hands behind his back. The man questioned why he was being detained and asked whether the officer worked for parking enforcement. He repeatedly asked the officer to explain what was happening and requested that the officer stop grabbing him. Police continued ordering him to place his hands behind his back, while the man argued that he knew his rights and questioned whether the officer's commands were lawful. The officer explained that he had given a lawful order before physically taking hold of the man and said that the man was required to comply with the command. The man disputed the officer's account, insisting that he had been grabbed before he understood what was being asked of him. He also pointed out that the entire encounter was being recorded. The officer ultimately told the man he was being charged with obstruction and would have to appear in court. The man responded that he was willing to take the matter to court. What do you think about how this encounter escalated?
