One of my first conventions had a Glomp circle where you kick a bottle and go up and hug whoever it pointed at and then that person would go and kick the bottle. It was very chaotic

I wish i was cosplaying during my earlier years of me being into anime/vocaloid (2008-2015) but at the same time i would've been underage and limited on what i can and can't do 😩 so im glad i got into cosplaying in 2016

I remember the one at Doncaster YEARS ago and the 'celebs' were all sat at a row of like wallpapering tables 😂 and it was in a tiny room with about 4 stalls, a mini stage for the celeb talks and then a random guy painting you as though you were in star wars. horrendous, but excellent. 😂

Omg glomping, wow haven’t heard that word in a long time. Please let’s never bring it back haha. Also, I would spend weeks trying to find the right wig. I couldn’t afford arda wigs (I think it was called)?? Which was the only official cosplay wig place. I miss the mcm ravers too that used to be at the back of the building I wonder what happened to them. I think I joined YCC when it was in that room too hahaha
