what were you doing on that bed cuz I've had my mattress from temu for over a year now and it's just fine along with all the other furnishings and whatnot send things that I have bought from there although I will admit that sometimes it doesn't turn out the way I thought it would but for the most part I've never been disappointed

I’m so confused. Those are not slats, those are supports. These are slats (see photo of bed frame I just got, blue), and the support goes under them (red). Did you just put your mattress on the supports? Because you can’t do that, you have to have slats or a box spring to support the mattress
