I don’t go anywhere they charge by weight. It’s way overpriced. I buy from a farm that charges $5 each for their large pumpkins.

I think I paid $20-22 for a massive pumpkin. The kind you could easily fit a small child inside. $1 a1.25 per pound is probably right on track. $102 for a pumpkin? Be so fr. There’s no hard sell. It’s a pumpkin not a Porsche dealership

I work at a grocery store where a few months ago we got in some new specialty watermelons that were ringing up at $1000.99 each instead of $1.99 per pound 🤦‍♀

My first time ever grocery shopping for my first apartment I was charged $30 for one normal size jar of peanut butter. I went home like wow I never knew peanut butter was so expensive I’m never gonna buy that again. It took years before I realized.

We had a garden when I was little and we sold all pumpkins for $1 and close to Halloween free we have over 600 one year and couldn’t actually give them away…

For big pumpkins, we pay like 5$ at a local farm who does pumpkins in the fall. Spent 24$ for 4 big pumpkins and some smaller ones.
