6 was the first nightmare on elm street movie i ever saw, I was like 14 i think. I e joyed the dark comedy a d the Freddie character. so for my birthday, I was given a complete boxset of the movie series. I couldnt wait to see what comedy they had in the first movie ...The first movie was not a dark comedy! I still loved it but I was slightly surprised 😂

As much as I hate and love Nightmare 4-6, it's pretty fun to watch. I have a theory that Freddy was just really, really bored in the dreamworld, so he tried to do something very creative instead of just being terrifying and scary.
