sausage cheese and bean melt has definitely been out for a very long time as my go to as a teen was the sausages roll, steak bake and cheese and bean. I'm now 32

The big brands have cheapend their products so much some aldi dupes are better than the originals. For a while now pringles have bulked their 'crisps' with flour where aldi is still using potato. Same with penguins, they're 'chocolate flavour coating' now, the aldi clone is still milk chocolate.

I think they added cheese in 2020. before then it was just sausage and beans

I feel like bakers oven did a beans and cheese melt and Greggs took over bakers oven although again this may be a Mandela effect

I used to work in retail in 2008 and my staple lunch was a sausage bean melt from Greggs so I can verify, 100% they've been around a loooooot longer than 5 years 😅

I like food but don't like Greggs sausage rolls . They are flavourless and the sausage you can tell was liquid before freezing and then baking. don't rate them at all.

Sausage and beans at Greggs is much older. I’ve not been able to eat dairy for probably more than 15 years and I used to have them before!
