Florida Man :
So I was an extreme alcoholic from 17 to 30.. to the point I had been drinking a handle+ a day for the last few years.. I went to treatment and got sober.. fast forward 3 years later, I got fully addicted to kratom/ 7-OH, thinking it was harmless.. WRONG.. after realizing how much money I was spending, I tried to stop.. It was pure hell.. I had to seek medical intervention (like I did with alcohol previously).. and let me tell you the withdrawal from heavy kratom use, while not deadly like alcohol, is 1000x worse, psychologically, physically, etc. It felt like severe COVID combined with debilitating depression, anxiety, and fatigue.. It took me like 6 months to feel normal again.. now I understand why relapse rates are so much higher for opiates than alcohol.. I've never done hard opiates, but after going thru what I went thru with the 7-OH, I have a lot of sympathy for those people on fent, dope, etc. and what I experienced is probably only a fraction of what they'd go thru if they tried to stop.
