The concern for me with houses being so close, is a fire. 🔥

They melted my siding when they built the house beside me because the exhaust of the excavator was right up against my house

the window was added, after the original inspection was done. I’ve seen this a few times.

Paying $600,000 for those houses and having a neighbor that close is just absurd...

Yeah I'm wondering about that window too...I don't recall what it says for opening windows in separations of 2.4m or less. At about 1.5m it falls in hirf requirements (or whatever we're calling it now).

Why does it matter if a window is there or not? Wouldn’t it be for egress in case of a fire?

Why shouldn’t the window open?

Zero lot lines where I live only 1 person owns the land between the houses. Usually the house with the windows on this side own the land to the next door home without windows.. Hence the name Zero lot you own Zero land from your foundation. Usually one side is Zero lot and then the other side has land up to the neighbors foundation. Usually
