@laral.arnold: this is the worst my skin has been in awhile. Ever since I got off birth control 5 years ago my skin breaks out (sometimes worse than others) around the time of my cycle. I’ve tried all the basics (clean diet, regular exercise, limit caffeine, etc) but nothing seems to help 😵💫😭😭 #hormonalacne #acneproneskin #acne #ttc
No fr my skin was so clear last year and now it’s just breaking out left and right

I mean this in the most genuine way but I think between TTC and having trouble and the hormonal acne you might need a blood panel work up! You may have an imbalance that’s directly correlating the hormonal acne and struggling to conceive. I have it too 😩

no dairy, eggs, SUGAR (the worst!!), and having professional grade skincare. I love face reality barrier balance wash, Lira (pro lite serum amazing), bio hydra infusion, & glymed comfort cream to repair barrier. Also spearmint tea daily :) trial and error but this has worked for me after going off face meds + BC

im on week 3 of using panoxyl face wash once a day, taking doxycycline & using tretinoin cream every other day and honestly I think it’s working. They aren’t completely gone but they are definitely getting smaller/less pigmented

I went to the derm and they told me azaleic acid at night, panoxyl as well at night and leave it on for a few mins! I also got a prescription for clindamycin and it seems to be working!

We are the same! I also think we are cycle synced as well because I’m about to start lol! Especially with the spotting and the hormonal acne it’s so tough!! But I will say especially that time of the month it gets worse but for some reason my acne has moved from my face to my back 😣😣😖

Birth control is the only thing that has helped me. My face is wrecked 😭but I refuse to go back on it. Spironolactone didn’t help, metformin didn’t help, clindamycin and antibiotics didn’t help. I drink tons of water, don’t eat processed foods and cut back on sugar, still not much of a difference 😭😭😭
