Leavenworth is beautiful, but the mountain bike courses are crazy. Whistler is even crazier you take the lift up, then ride down.

"Not for the faint of heart." You nailed it! I've seen some devastating crash-outs of mountain bike racers bouncing off trees and boulders. Like literally bouncing.
