No, $15 an hour is not a living wage. Not every job deserves a living wage. $15 should be what 15-25 year olds make. You should be building skills and striving to improve your job situation. Go get a sales job. Take night classes. Work in an industry where experience leads to promotion. I’m compassionate and I know that people can’t live on what corporate America is willing to pay for low skill jobs. However if someone chooses to stay in a job that doesn’t provide the life they desire, it’s not the job market that is to blame. I failed in college but I got a sales job and make $100,000 plus.

food and shelter are the only things you need to live the rest is a luxury. we all survived before technology. and I can find low cost apartments they are not high end but they are a roof over your head I could live on less if I had too.

Agreed. $15 is not a livable wage. So now what? First problem is your budget. You’re living more than what you make. Your fault. So you have to cut wants or increase income. Thats your choices.
