Salty Dog :
In August 2018 a friend and I did a cross country trip, Fort Worth TX, Las Vegas, NV, Los Angeles, CA, home. Somewhere between Roswell, NM and the TX border my service dog ripped a gnarly, flesh consuming fart. A literal green cloud of doom. It was SOOOO bad. I quickly turned the AC recirculater off so fresh air was coming in. no luck, it just hyng there, a shroud of death. Rolled the windows down, burned our faces trying to gulp fresh air in 105 ° heat. There was NOWHERE to pull over. Back highways are 2 lane, narrow and had fields/ditches as far as the eye could see. We repeated this process of gulping burny hot air and suffocating fart w/AC for 20 minutes. All I could do say repeat 'WHAT DID YOU EAT?!' While my friend muttered 'Oh god I can taste it' Laughing so hard tear were streaming down oir faces. We finally found civilization and quickly whipped into a gas station and bailed out. I mean the world is ending, a bomb has dropped, running for your life bailed. I had to roll the windows down, open all four doors and febreeze the hell out of the truck and her dog bed. Not sure how the stench lingered: I have leather seats and a vinyl floor, no fabric. We alternated laughing hysterically and questioning sanity. The dog slept thru the whole 20 minute ride of horror and was grumpy AF when I woke her to go for a walk. Pic of the dog in question, her name was BriBri.
