I always say if you go to a gig alone you already have a least 1 thing in common with everyone else in the room & that's the music, you can start conversations from there. going alone & feeling awkward for a tiny bit beats missing out on bands and regretting it later 💚

I love going to gigs alone. No one tries to talk to you all the way through the gig. No drink or smoke breaks, arrive and leave when you want. it's great .

just got Luke Combs tickets I had to buy two because I couldn't purchase any solo ones! I love doing things solo, but its hard to do things with company's catering for two!

I’ve done lots of gigs on my own and it’s the best!!!! Last one was Coldplay, and it was incredible - i deliberately booked that one solo as I wanted to completed immerse myself. Others I do alone if friends aren’t into the band/person etc.

I went to see bros and lady gaga on my own cause no one else could afford it but I had to go and it was fantastic but the amount of women that sympathised and tried to recruit was overwhelming, why is there a stigma going to gigs Alone seriously don’t need sympathy lol.

love this is often go to gigs on my own kasabian rolling stones acdc James oasis yeah done that mate it is a safe place it is a happy place the only type of people you will bump into that will judge you for being solo? none it doesnt happen buy the ticket

I have to go to things alone all the time. I just booked Glyndebourne for Christmas. Never been to standup gig but go to theatre, concerts, cinema, galleries etc all the time. If you don’t you do nothing! It’s lovely doing with friends but most of the time it’s just not possible either coz of non- shared interests or mismatched live schedules. Liked hearing this story.
