Don’t listen to the naysayers. You have a good marketable product that does exactly what is needed. This will be very valuable to a business owner who doesn’t have time to answer the phone 24/7. If you can decrease the latency time, then you are golden!

I had a similar experience with a "call center" for a big tire chain. just don't lie to the customer. start with a quick "hey I'm Brian, the AI receptionist for ." otherwise it feels like you're trying to dupe me and I hate it.
