@missteraelizabeth: After receiving high dose IVC and metronomic low dose chemo with carboplatinum, taxol and 5FU. I was getting rigors. It scared the crap out of me. As time went on we did smaller amounts, Benadryl, released the high dose IVC slower and had heating pads all over my body. It helped tremendously. Rigors = intense shivering with teeth chattering, often uncontrollable. these days I have been taking my high dose IVs like a champ, still using my heating pad because it’s my comfort zone and my body is tolerating my treatment well. ##lowdosechemo##healthtip##breastcancer##HealingJourney##mbc
