When you hit year 4 .. it’s an issue . If he knew you were “the one” at year one …. The money saved for the ring 💍 should be there by year 2 😩. Some men stress about the cost of a ring/ wedding and wanna financially prepare to be a husband ….. but it shouldn’t take 5 , 6 years

there's no protection in the word "wife" either. not really. cuz yes he can pay alimony and what not along with will but a lot of that stuff you can also attain without marriage (health benefits, Living Will ect).

What do you mean by “protection”? I wonder if if there wasn’t a financial upside for women after divorce would they even want to get married. I think one of the reasons that marriage rates are down is because men realize that being able to take money from a guy after divorce is part of the rationale for getting married in the first place.
