I'd like to add a mandatory retirement age of 70 for every elected officials. Also, every elected official has to live with the average salary and benefits of the area they represent.

Two is WAY too few for the House of reps, which is only a two year term. And way inflates senators’ impacts since they have 6 years per term.

I think 2 terms is kind of short in local government like really rural area would run out of people willing to do it so quickly. I do support some limits but maybe not to that extreme extent.

Going off the first one, politicians should make the median income of the people they represent. They way they will actually enact policies to benefit the average person. Also, if you’re in politics, you can’t own stocks. Doesn’t matter if it’s federal, or local. You and imantoen related to you cannot be buying and trading stocks.

The only reason for #3 is for rich people to protect themselves. Like an Olivia Rodrigo stalker shouldn’t be able to find her home by searching deeds. As a business owner #5 has to notes. Perfect.

Term limits are well meaning but have pretty clear negative outcomes in practice. similarly, if you want to solve affordability of housing, banning investor housing doesn't actually do anything to help. We need to actually build more housing for prices to drop

1. for congress - no more than 2 terms in one body(house or senate), or 3 terms total in a combination of both. Also, AGE LIMITS are just as important , if not more important than terms limits. Social Security age is set at 67, so mandatory can not hold federal office after 67.
