I mean, you have a valid point—and so does he. If you think about it, leave-in conditioner is mainly used by people with curly or wavy hair. For pin-straight hair, it doesn’t really make sense to use it because you’re already adding extra moisture on top of the natural oils your scalp produces, and wouldn’t that just make the hair heavier and cause it to fall flat? Curly-haired people mainly use leave-ins since their scalp’s natural oils don’t travel down the hair shaft as easily due to the curl pattern, so leave-in conditioner acts as a substitute for that moisture. But hey, that’s just what I think! Feel free to share your thoughts on my comment.

Leave in conditioner does not make your scalp more apparent or causes u to thin. If it does then see a specialist because either something is wrong with your scalp, hair, or the product you are using may not be suitable for you. The correct way to apply leave in conditioner raking it through your entire hair from the roots to the tips of your hair hair
