This is the kind of room I would have begged for as a child if we had that space. I did try to live underneath the staircase once and I wasn’t even into Harry Potter so that was my own choice lol

The window police are really out here embarrassing themselves 😂 That cedar was beautiful! But I understand a kiddo might not appreciate it as much. Good on you for finding a way to give your baby her own space!

What if you put some kind of curtain right before the door and swap the door with one with a window or some alternative - a folding door? To kind of claim that small space and the natural lighting from the window? Y'know? I dunno, I just feel like that space by the door could be utilized in some neat way.
