Which singer are you? The same singer on two parallel earths have the same vocal challenges because they're the same person…but they have one distinction. Their belief system and their mindset. One is always wondering why they can do it on some days and they can't on another. They ask the wrong question. ‘Why can't I do this? Why am I not getting better?’ They sing randomly and they do not know the what and the why of how their voice works. The other singer is in the exact same vocal place, but they know the what and the why of how their voice works. They have an optimistic mindset. They're positive. They expect to be able to get it, and they ask this question, ‘How can I make this even better? How can I keep it real easy while singing really strong?’ They are unconsciously or consciously getting their neurology to work for them. These are all involuntary muscles. You can't intellectualize your way into a great voice. You can't think your way into a great voice. You have to feel it. You have to engage your neurology so that it can create the coordination that you need to be able to do this, because you cannot control this yourself. You engage your neurology with the right questions, with the right attitude, with the right intention. If you intend to be able to sing strong and easily, and you know you're going to get this from an optimistic standpoint, you put yourself in a far better position to succeed. The other person in the parallel earth that asks the wrong questions that doesn't know the what and the why, that is negative about their voice and sings randomly, they have very little chance of actually discovering their voice. They're the same people with the same voice and the same challenges. But one person is almost guaranteed to succeed while the other is almost guaranteed to fail.
