it was wrong that she assaulted someone over words (even tho they're messed up and really hurtful) but I can understand how she got there, especially being so young and it involving her family. i think she should have some form of punishment, but I don't think it should stay with her for life, she just needs to do some community service, maybe an anger management class or something, but overall she shouldn't get any sort of big punishment imo. poor girl
