Household bleach can be effective when correctly diluted and given sufficient contact time, but always follow the product instructions and never mix bleach with other cleaning products. 🧺 Wash bedding and other washable items thoroughly, and clean food bowls, litter trays, floors and other potentially contaminated surfaces. 👟 Remember that the virus can also spread via contaminated hands, clothing, shoes and objects. 🐱 Keep unvaccinated cats and especially young kittens away from contaminated areas until they have been properly cleaned and disinfected.
