The space is so lively and stylish with neon accents & eclectic artwork. With a hidden bar called HIKI & a happy hour on Fridays & Saturdays from 5-7pm featuring $15 cocktails, it’s the perfect coastal spot. Run by hospitality pros Johnny Jong and Kelvyn Yeoh, they bring a wealth of experience from some of Melbourne’s top venues, including Lucas Restaurants and Crown Sydney. We had their $75 fire it up feed me menu & it was delicious & so generous! Here’s what was included: 🐟 Spicy fish ceviche, tuna, kingfish, chilli dressing, sesame cracker: LOVED, so much flavour, super fresh & great balance of textures 🔥“Szechuan” burrata, roasted sesame sauce, fennel jam, cashew, red pepper oil, served with focaccia: a fantastic take on a burrata, one of my faves for a while 🤝🏼 Truffle chicken siu mai, tobiko: a touch more truffle flavour would’ve been fab 💖 Twice-cooked pork belly, slaw, pickles: perfectly crispy, juicy & not too fatty, well balanced with the slaw 🐠 Crispy whole barramundi, nahm jim apple slaw: crispy, perfectly cooked, my fave main 🥦 Charred caulilini, tahini, kong bao glaze: so addictive, I loved the kong bao glaze 🍚 Jasmine rice: well cooked 🍮 Coconut mochi cake: not too sweet, didn’t love the shavings on the side & ice cream was a little icy but the cake itself was fantastic If you’re in the South East or looking for a great Asian fusion feast by the beach, this is for you!!
