Almost 2 years, Ford girly over here! Best advice I could give is never back down. Stand your ground, and don’t let anyone around you dull your shine. It’s easy to be knocked down, learn your products and out smart the rest. Set yourself a part from others. Also, don’t let the bad months ruin your mojo. Keep it movin.

7 Years - understand most people are scared of being scammed or lied to so most of the time clients come guarded. learn to ACTIVELY listen, your energy is going to sell your product not the product itself. They already know if they like it or not instantly. How you make people feel will make or break your sale. Learn to put yourself in their world and understand why they feel certain ways, their struggles, and obstacles their facing. It’ll be easier to help them navigate out of those feelings if you truly understand.

Been in the business 9 years.. 5 years on the floor until promoted to finance. Been in finance 4 years now! Biggest piece of advice is don’t worry about the other sales people or how many cars they have out. Focus on your month not theirs. As much as I hated hitting the phones, follow up is your biggest flex! Those customers will become loyal and send referrals and it is the best way to network. Make the happy birthday calls and write handwritten thank you cards. You are building your book of business and it will ALWAYS pay off. ♥
