Can you also make a new array that doesn’t contain val? Which basically removes it too? (I know it’s probably not as efficient I’m just talking in a brute force style)

maybe dumb question, but why do you have to repeat the i < j, when the while loop those are nested in are already checking for that condition of i < j ? why do you have to check again inside the while loop that’s already checking?
