Here’s one thing I’ve never understood and nobody could ever explain it to me. I understand that that is book procedure and a standard for recovering a regulator however sometimes and it’s happened to me been kicked by a careless Diver and my regulator pops out. What I normally do is just grab octo cause I know where that one’s at until I recover my primary and switch out a lot of times you don’t have time to take a deep breath in before you lose your regulator so to speak that’s just my two cents I know it was not asked for

Yes, because I always drop my reg when sitting on my knees in the ocean. and it never comes out when in the dive position. Must be a PADI Class
