Also, ich/ick is getting harder to treat. 2 years ago I got it really bad (it was the only time I didnt quarantine). I was fighting it for a month and it took out half of my 75g community. I called the store where I got the fish from, and the girl who answered said their fish didn’t have ick. Next time I went in, half their tanks were empty and almost every other one had NFS/Not For Sale written on it. They had ick. Have meds ready but also don’t skip quarantine 🙃

so.. I didnt quarantine and found out the fish i added a few days ago has it... do I just add it to the whole tank?

Is it odd if the ich isn’t attaching itself to my fish?? I can see Ich in my tank on the sides of the glass and on my filter, little white dots that will move. But I have yet to see it actually attach to my fish? (I have a blood parrot cichlid). I will try these things to make it go away!

I lost all my sorority bettas girls because one of them I had recently bought I thought the spots on her tail was color and later it had spread which later spread to all the others 🥺🥺

okay so I have ich on my gold fish and didn’t realize until I put my 2 new goldfish in and don’t want it to spread but the other fish have really red tails and has like a decay look to it does that mean it’s too late to cure because it’s kinda bad?

I just put 4 cardinal tetras in my tank like a week ago I woke up yesterday and my betta has 5 spots on him but nun on the others, I change my weekly so idk if it’s from the tetras or from stress, any thoughts? it’s so stressful.!!

I just had an entire tank due to what I think was extremely bad ick, they turned kinda fuzzy? I’m very frustrated, and I’m not sure how to move forward, to make sure the tank cycles and whatnot. It’s a planted tank, and I do want to add fish back eventually. Any advice?

Wha are the odds my other fish don’t get ick if I found one infected? I removed him immediately and my other fish don’t look infected. My water has always tested pristine but I kept my temp was at 76. I just cranked the temp up yesterday

I am going to be cycling a 75 gallon soon and I currently have neon tetras. platys, and corydoras and I was wondering what would be a statement fish that would definitely not eat or harass them. I want it to be kinda on the bigger side but not so big that it could eat them. 🫶
