Last year I gave an old work friend a large bag of clothes for her son, because my husband and I thought we were done having kids and she was online asking for donations and I was trying to be kind. We are currently pregnant with our last baby, and when I asked if she had those clothes still, she tried to sell them back to me 😅 GIRL I GAVE THOSE TO YOU FOR FREE, WDYM 😆

Cousin should have given them back when she was done. If you give me contingent hand-me-downs I’m not storing them. As soon as I’m done they go back to you. If you say “I might want them back some day” and it’s been like 5 years, they’re gone sorry.

I need a more defined timeline, “a few years” without asking for the items back is a long time to expect someone to hold onto those items. BUT regardless the cousin should’ve asked before giving them away.
