I started taking lexapro for anxiety/depression 6yrs ago. Definitely has done wonders for me. I take in the morning bc it gave me nightmares when I took too close to bedtime. No other side affects for me, but I def get brain zaps/vertigo when I forget to take or the pharmacy is backed up

i have absolutely no side effects and i just told myself if i felt anything I would stop taking it. Don’t read too much into side effects because you can “manifest them” or kind of placebo yourself info feeling them

I’m on Lexapro and Wellbutrin, was on Lexapro by itself first. It has changed my life. I got some side effects but they only lasted around a week for me, some people don’t experience them at all. So unbelievably worth it to not feel the crippling anxiety I had every single day

see if your insurance will cover Genesight!! genesight uses saliva to determine what meds would be good / cautionary/ avoid for you! they send you a mouth swab kit, you do it, mail it back and then they send your Dr your results. your Dr is the one who will make the official request to Genesight.

I’ve been in Strattera since 2nd grade, and started lexapro I’d say about 5years ago. It’s helped me wonders. I’m now 27. I was even able to take both while pregnant with twins and have two healthy babies

I’ve been on lexapro for over a year and feel it works great for my anxiety. Some side effects I’ve noticed are heat intolerance with some weight gain, and a few more personal ones. However I’ve noticed a great difference in my anxiety attacks and at this time rarely have them.

Lexapro was easy for me to get on, I only got really sleepy and weird dreams for like 5 days and then felt normal. It’s helped my social anxiety a ton, I’m way more confident now. I can function wayyyy more than I could without it. No side effects except for when I forget to take for a few days I get sweaty and headaches.

10000% recommend strattera!! i genuinely felt the noise in my brain get quiet and i’m able to focus and remember things, even 3 years later i can still tell a huge difference on days that i don’t take it. i also have taken lexapro for a little over 3 years, i was pretty nauseous when i started taking it but just don’t take it on an empty stomach and that helps a lot!

I was on Lexapro first and then added Wellbutrin. Eventually I was able to get off Lexapro (it also made me gain weight and swell a lot). Lexapro did make a world of a difference for me in the beginning but eventually I was very numb emotionally. I LOVE Wellbutrin! I don’t ever plan on getting off. It helped a lot with my depression. For me, Lexapro helped with my anxiety but not depression

I’m on Wellbutrin and lexapro and honestly it helped me sooo much. I haven’t felt any side effects besides having the worst headache of my life when I don’t take my medicine with a meal so I just take them right before breakfast and I’m set for the day no headaches and start off with a low dose so you don’t feel too many side effects all at once! And what are your natural remedies that you have been doing if you don’t mind me asking 🫶🏻

I’ve been on Lexapro since 2017 and it did change my life. I was waking up with debilitating anxiety, nausea and heart palpitations. It took a month or two to kick in but when it did I finally felt regulated, I have slowly increased my dosage over the years. I recently got diagnosed with PMDD and my doctor recommended switching to a different birth control with a shorter sugar pill window rather than adjusting my other meds which has helped the symptoms.

Lexapro changed my life, I was having really bad anxiety to where I couldn’t even function at work and now I can’t remember how long it’s been since I’ve had a panic attack. I used to be so overtly emotional and now I can be calm and think through my thoughts. But be prepared to never cry again lol I have way less emotion— sometimes like a robot. 😅

i’m on lexapro and ritalin and i think it has helped a lot. i ended up having to move back home with my mom and was on my ass for months. when i got the ritalin prescription it helped SOOO much with my motivation to do things like chores. i’ve honestly always had depression and anxious feelings for like my whole life. it hasn’t gone away unfortunately, but i am better than i was before. which counts for something i think!!! i was off ritalin for a little bit last month and my room got sooooo messy and gross and i just got it back and i’ve been able to cook, clean my room and do laundry since i got back on it 😅 those things were almost impossible before. YOU GOT THIS GIRLIE!!!❤️❤️❤️❤

I was on Lexapro when I was 17 and it was life changing to realize I wasn’t having my anxious tendencies anymore. I just started mirtazapine and already notice a difference. I feel like the side effects are worth it to no longer be suffering / just trying to make it by each week while being on the verge

i’ve taken a lot of different medications over the years but landed on something called pristiq when i was younger and it truly was the only medication that helped my anxiety/ocd and depression- so much so that i was able to safely taper off the medication and continue with just therapy ! i also took adderall for some time and genuinely recommend adderall to anyone with adhd because if you really don’t like it, you’ll know after the first day and you never have to take it again - but if it helps, it usually will change your life in every way
