My god, she was imprisoned, pregnant, grieving a tiny baby, missed the first 18 months of her second son’s life and didn’t do a thing wrong? Absolutely heartbreaking. Truly

It’s so crazy how the things we rely on as airtight can also have insane exceptions to the story !

The amount of parents bringing their babies into the hospital for help and end up being charged with abuse and their children taken away to later have medical explanation’s is staggering. Parents behind pinwheels shares stories of families that are forever changed because of misdiagnosis.

after everything, I sincerely hope she doesn't blame herself for taking the wrong turn that night, that none of this would've happened and Ryan would've still been alive .. because it wasn't her fault and everyone else failed her. the other hospital SHOULD have had tests if they existed and knew they were dealing with a child. This poor mama and her boys 😭💞

As someone who works with children with metabolic disorders in the present day (including MMA) this is bananas to me. I can’t believe there was a time when lab technology couldn’t distinguish between anti-freeze and the toxic buildup from MMA, but I guess it was down to that one molecule 💀
