Before I Moved here to Austria I used lingoda which is kind of pricey but at least you get a native German speaking teacher. Now I mostly learn through daily interactions but the Austrian dialect is hella difficult. Especially in Tyrol.

Today: watched a two hour documentary about mountaineering in German with English subs, read a first grade level book about a pirate dragon, had a conversation using damit (new grammar concept!) about how to transfer my prescriptions to a pharmacy at the new place, and spent 10 minutes talking with my spouse about the day in German. I'm pretty sure your way is more effective.

If you hv time and want to get the accent right, there’s a study that showed if you listen to a language 2 years before trying to learn it, as babies do, you will speak eithout accent
