🦋 Also mom of autism and ADHD. The screaming comes with the unable to speak his mind. I learned that my son use to hit because of this. I learned sign language and it was soo calming for both him and the family. Now I know more of what and when he wants different things.

This made me very emotional my son has adhd and waiting to be assessed for autism he is like this everyday but he lashes out at his younger brother sometimes i feel so lonely my family don’t understand as when my son is around family he masks x

aw bless him he's struggling too, my sons severely autistic non verbal 6yo and they are very very similar to your wee boy. it's so hard for them. you can see how hard it is for him not to do it. I'd maybe consider asking for a med review at this stage. you're doing amazing keeping calm and giving the no reaction x
