toss a couple trash bags in there and the bucket serves as a toilet if you have to shelter in a space without one for a time.

I think you did a really nice job with this! If you do have a loved one on blood thinners, it doesn’t hurt to shop Amazon for a “stop the bleed” kit, but ideally you should have that at baseline and not just for a tornado.

Something that also important while not necessarily part of a go bag but people don’t think about it while they are sheltering. Be sure to wear closed toed shoes! You don’t want to be stepping on debris bare footed!
