@mom_to_millionaire: Warning: do not attempt this at home if you have a spending problem. Flights are meant to be freeeeee! I use a credit card for EVERY purchase and bill. I want allll the points so travel is affordable. I also ensure my credit score is A+ at all times. A bad credit score will cost you money! #creatorsearchinsights #creditcard #creditscore #daveramsey #financialliteracy
Same! Also, I haven’t paid off my mortgage even though I could because the rate is lower than my savings rate. That’s free $!

He always says don’t GET a credit card. How do you travel without a credit card. As long as you pay it off who cares?

It’s ok to be in your position and using a credit card and having a credit score, but most people will never level up..and follow the maps to financial freedom..

Yeah, No Dave Ramsey for me anymore. I taught FPU for a while. Using a credit card is safer as well. In case of fraud your money ain’t tied up. Absolutely, Use credit card for everything but pay off each month!

No Dave Ramsey for me anymore. His morality clause at his company had them fire a pregnant woman for being single. He is against raising the minimum wage. He supports the dumpster fire current administration who has run up the country's debt. He supports billionaires yet yells at poor people. Nope!!

I think David Ramsey advice about “no credit cards” is because many don’t know how to manage one. Having a credit card is essential. Also, I agree with you on having a credit score. All 3 of my FICO scores as of today, 10/17/25, are: Equifax 820, TU 812, and Experian 817. ❤️📚

I am the same but I get 3% cash back on everything! I also keep a credit score. Don’t need it, but I want the flexibility! The key is not having a spending problem and not carrying a balance ever!

Dave is great for those starting off and for those who lack discipline. Once you graduate from being a “baby” you can use credit cards to your advantage.

He would be proud to hear your story and financial success his personal story is don’t be a slave in your financial life. He has changed the conversation about money and a lot of us are richer because of it. The blueprint is dogmatic and does lead to success.

Agree 💯 I listen to Dave Ramsey but I don’t follow all of his steps. I’m definitely using my cc 4 everything! Paying it off every month. Getting my SkyMiles points & cash back. I transfer my cash back to my savings account.

I only followed Dave’s baby steps 1-3 increased my investment rate to 30 - 35% kept a cash back credit card a credit score and my 2% mortgage. That really increased my portfolio over doing his suggested 15% and early mortgage pay off.
